Wanted: Volunteers for Branch Meetings
Volunteer your time with PMI Auckland and increase your opportunities for leadership, collaboration and networking. Maybe you think you don't have time to volunteer, or your schedule makes it difficult for you to make a commitment, however, if you can help out for just one hour, you'll be surprised at the difference it can make (and it looks good on your CV).

Below are opportunities for volunteers at Branch Meetings. We also have volunteer opportunities available for the Peter de Jager seminar series.
Event Management and Registration
Create a lasting first impression and greet everyone as they walk in the door to our events.
We’re looking for two volunteers for Thursday 18 March, to assist a committee member with the registration and front desk duties to ensure all members and guests are correctly registered and supplied with name badges.
This event will be held at Oram’s Marine Boat Park, Westhaven. You will be required from 5:15pm -6:00pm. These positions will be filled on a first-in, first serve basis.
Advertising, Promotions, Marketing
Would you like to get your name in front of as many members as possible? Interested in improving your written communication skills? We’ve got some volunteer opportunities that may appeal.
Market Researcher: Members at the Thursday 18 March branch meeting will be asked to complete a short survey. We’d like
one volunteer to collate the responses into a spreadsheet and prepare a report of the findings in time for the 7 April Committee
Meeting. Some appreciation of Excel would be very useful. There will be a maximum of 80 surveys. Details will be negotiated
with the volunteer.
Reporter: Write a 100-200 word report of our next branch meeting. Your review will be published on the pmi.org.nz website.
We welcome reviews from multiple volunteers. Please let me know if you’d like to contribute so these can be published in a
timely and consistent manner.
