Role Descriptions
National Board Members
President: Responsible for leading the PMINZ Board in its Governance and Strategic work to meet the aims and objectives of PMI New Zealand.
Vice-President: Supports the PMINZ President in leading the PMINZ Board and provides input to PMINZ Branches activities. Is the national conference sponsor and acts as the executive sponsor for all national events.
Treasurer: Will have charge and custody of all assets and financial records of PMINZ. Will be responsible for ensuring the associations financial position are audited, and the distribution of funds to Branch Treasurers.
Secretary: Will keep adequate records of all proceedings of PMINZ, the PMINZ Board, AGM and any other Special meetings. The Secretary will have custody of the PMINZ Constitution and By-Laws and ensure all members receive a current version. Also, is responsible for the PMINZ Administrator.
Branch Chairperson: Overall responsibility for the Branch operational activities such as Monthly meetings, seminars and AGM. Also responsible to the activities of the Sub-branches in their area.
National Appointed Positions
Immediate Past President: Provide past knowledge to the PMINZ President and board.
Director of Professional Development: Liaise with PMI HQ and Education Providers and to provide coordination between PMINZ Branch Professional Development Coordinators.
Director of Marketing/Communications: Oversee all aspects of Strategic Planning and National Marketing Strategy.
Director of Sponsorship: Retain national sponsors for the PMINZ
Director of Membership: Oversee all aspects of PMINZ membership including membership service, membership development programs, growing and retaining membership in accordance with the PMINZ strategic plan.
Editor PMINZ eNews: Prepare the monthly professional newsletter for PMINZ.
PMINZ Administrator: Provide support resource and expertise to PMINZ, elected Board members and the PMINZ membership. Is a shared role with the PMINZ Secretary.
Conference Project Manager: Responsible for the successful project management of the annual PMINZ Conference. Is responsible to the PMINZ Vice-President.
