PMINZ announce, for the second year running in New Zealand, the Project Management Awards. The awards recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements in the project management profession. Not all awards require PMI affiliation.

The awards will be presented at the PMINZ 2010 Conference dinner at the Wellington Town Hall on Wednesday 25th August 2010.

The award categories are:

PMINZ Project of the Year
PMINZ Project Manager of the Year
PMINZ Emerging Project Manager of the Year
PMINZ Volunteer of the Year
PMINZ Research Achievement Award

Finalists announced
The PMINZ is pleased to announce the 2010 finalists for the Project Management Awards.

The finalists for PMINZ Project Manager of the Year are:

  • Archana Devi, Transpower
  • Byron Roff, Wellington City Council

 The finalists for PMINZ Project of the Year are:

  • Datacom Systems (Wellington) Ltd, Identity Verification Service
  •  New Zealand Customs Service, Smartgate project
  • Transpower, Drury 220kV Switching Station

Winners for the above Awards plus Volunteer of the Year, Emerging Project Manager of the Year and Research Achievement of the Year will be announced at the formal dinner of the PMINZ national conference, held on Wednesday 25 August.
