Accommodations

Block bookings have been made at selected hotels in addition to the conference venue. Special rates (all inclusive of Goods and Services Tax) have been negotiated that are equal to, if not better than, corporate rates. Room rates do not include breakfast unless otherwise specified.

The hotels provide tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, refrigerator, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. The apartments have kitchen and laundry facilities.

Making a Reservation

Bookings must be made directly to The Conference Company on the registration form by 3 September 2006. No rooms will be guaranteed after this date. To secure your reservation payment of one night's room rate by cheque is required, or you may supply your credit card details to guarantee the booking. Please indicate your first and second choices of accommodation on the registration form.

If you have an early morning arrival and require an early check-in, you will need to reserve your room for the previous night.

Changing a Reservation

Please advise The Conference Company of any change to a reservation rather than contacting the hotel direct.

Cancelling a Reservation

If you cancel your accommodation booking prior to 3 September 2006, your accommodation deposit will be refunded in full. After that date, refunds may be subject to cancellation charges levied by the hotel.

Hotel Grand Chancellor
Conference Venue

Hotel Grand Chancellor is located at the end of Cashel Mall, the city’s shopping precinct. Facilities include bar, restaurant and business centre and all rooms have broadband internet, a desk and tea and coffee making facilities.

All apartments have been furnished to a high standard and have a fully equipped kitchen, a separate living room from each bedroom and a private laundry and bathroom. Included in the room rate is a continental breakfast. There is broadband internet in all rooms.
