Biographical information for James Kudzal

James A. Kudzal, MS, MEA, PMP is a principal with Brook-Anthony Corporation (www.bacorp.com). He has over 20 years of project management and contract management experience in support of corporate and government clients. His areas of expertise include R&D in nuclear and electromagnetic engineering, computer systems design and integration, and database and software development.

He held several positions as a civil servant in the U.S. Navy. There his projects included R&D in such engineering areas as rocket motors, Navy ship survivability, nuclear weapons effects testing, and electromagnetic compatibility. He was also a regular trainer for the Navy's Engineering Duty Officer program and a frequent lecturer at the Navy Postgraduate School.

As a contract manager for a Fortune 200 company, he managed several large federal government and engineering support contracts. They included electromagnetic and nuclear effects testing, software development, and database design and development. He regularly led corporate training sessions on proposal development, contract management, and project management.

He is currently President and General Manager of Brook-Anthony Corporation, a small management and technical services company in the Washington, DC area. There he provides project management consulting services to corporate and government clients, oversees the development of software development projects, and provides project management seminars and training to various groups worldwide.

Mr. Kudzal holds a BS in Physics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, an MS in Physics from the University of New Hampshire, an MEA in Engineering Administration from George Washington University, and a PMP designation from the Project Management Institute.
