The Nelson Sub-Branch is part of the South Island Branch.
The Nelson Sub-Branch usually meets on the last Tuesday of every second month.
No meetings are at present scheduled for 2012 for the Nelson PMI Group. This will be reviewed when a new
co-ordinator is available to arrange programs etc for the Nelson Group in 2012.

Nelson 2 May Meeting: PMBOK ver5 Changes
A small group met at the MWH offices on a very rainy evening to discuss the recently released PMBOK ver 5. Most discussion was around the changes to the Communications knowledge area, the new Stakeholder Management knowledge area and the clearer explanations of soft skills throughout PMBOK 5.
Our sincere thanks to MWH for the use of their premises, especially as the recent floods in Richmond caused damage to the ground floor.

The Nelson Sub-Branch will not be running a study group during 2013.

We are part of the South Island Branch of the Project Management Institute of New Zealand (PMINZ).
Nelson was the first provincial centre in New Zealand to offer formal PMI activity.
